Aleph is the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet.
Modern uses
- In mathematics, Georg Cantor decided to use alephs to determine the cardinality of infinite sets. These are called aleph numbers, with some of the most notable ones being aleph null () and aleph one ().[1]
